Six businesses built for the operators software forgot.
JSON Holdings is a privately held Ohio company. We build and keep software and services
businesses for buyers the industry treats as too small to serve — the two-truck carrier,
the single-location trades shop, the small federal supplier, the four-attorney firm that
cannot put a client file in someone else's cloud.
Each brand operates under JSON Holdings LLC with its own product, its own buyer and its
own domain. Every stage below is current as of today, and a product that is not ready
says so on its own site.
A flat-fee, one-week website plus Google Business Profile and Facebook cleanup for the
local shops and dealers still running on a Gmail address. No subscription trap.
A south-central Ohio small business built to resell and source supplies for federal
purchases, as a nonmanufacturer/distributor and through the bid-to-supplier broker
model.
After-hours phone coverage for trades companies, funeral homes and towing operators.
It answers, it takes the details, and it never invents a promise the shop can't keep.
Compliance management for nuclear fuel and component suppliers: document verification,
an audit trail that holds up, and export-control review built into the workflow.
Quarterly IFTA fuel-tax calculation and paperwork automation for owner-operators and
carriers running ten trucks or fewer, from IFTA's own published rates.
These are constraints, not ambitions. Each venture is actually built under them, and
they are the reason the portfolio looks the way it does.
01 Own the infrastructure.
Our software runs on hardware and code we control, down to the model weights and the
mail server. No business in this portfolio is one vendor's pricing decision away from
becoming unviable, and no customer's data is held somewhere we cannot point to.
02 Serve the operators the market skips.
Ninety-one percent of American motor carriers run ten trucks or fewer. The four-person
firm, the single-location shop and the small federal supplier all buy software — they
just rarely get any built for them. That gap is the whole thesis.
03 Verify before you sell it.
Every claim on these sites has been tested against something real: actual tax tables,
live solicitations, real phone calls. When a product is not ready, the site for
that product says so — including on this page.
04 Hold, don't flip.
Wholly owned, no outside capital, no exit timeline and no obligation to a fund's clock.
Each business is expected to earn its own keep and be here in ten years.
The company
Built, not bought.
JSON Holdings LLC is an Ohio limited liability company, formed in 2026. It was created
to operate a single private-AI product and became a parent when one set of
infrastructure, and one badly served kind of buyer, turned out to carry more than one
business.
Every brand is wholly owned, started here rather than acquired, and still run here.
There is no outside capital, no fund and no board — which is what lets a business this
size be run on a ten-year horizon rather than a quarterly one, and why the only person
to satisfy is the one using the software.

What we publish.
Most of what we build is internal infrastructure, shared across the six brands rather
than sold on its own. When a piece of it is useful outside JSON Holdings on its own
terms, we publish it under an open-source license instead of keeping it to ourselves.
